3rd Oct 2014: Think this is the bog standard lager/pilsner I got served from a bar stall on a barge on the river Vltava in Prague while wandering around a market with the wife. Labelled as Pivo Bohemia Regent 11. Golden, bright and clear body, white crown for a head. Refreshing without testing any of my senses, no aroma or taste worthy of note.

Slightly musty, funky pils . Nice pour with tight creamy head on medium gold body. Aroma is cheese, musty backyard. Taste is very malty with a bit of a hops bite. Bottle may have gotten stale.

Bottle, 0.50l. Clear dark brown color with medium frothy light brown head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, roasted malt, coffee and grassy hops. Taste starts with moderate sweet caramel malt, follows by bready and roasty acidity with medium bitter finish. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Very drinkable dunkel, although a bit too thin on palate...

(Draught at Pivovarsky Klub, Prague, 17 July 2014) Dark amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of wort, rye bread, orange peel and slightly roasted malt. Malty, slightly fruity taste with rye bread, dried fruit, toasty malt and a gentle, spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Fresh and tasty, with a slight rye character. Quite nice.
