Bottle. Clear deep golden with a frothy white head. Grainy cereals aroma with notes of DMS and hints of grass. Sweet grainy flavor, kinda sugary, with some malt, alcohol hints and a drier finish with light grassy hops. Light-bodied. Too sweet, barely drinkable.

Clear yellow body with a white fizzy head. Soapy aroma with some hints of caramalts and hops. Moderately bitter, moderately sweet finish. The aroma is not that appealing, the flavour on the other hand is well balanced.

Pour is a dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is a little burnt malt and some caramel. Flavor is more burnt malt with heavier than average malty backbone for a Czech dark lager. This one is better than average with enough flavor to carry it. I’m sure all the beers I’ve had from this brewer are much better fresh in Czech.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is kinda grassy and grainy if you use your imagination. Flavor is really watery and light. Nothing offensive here as there is not much to like or dislike. None of that wet paper bag you get from most eastern Euro lagers. That’s the best I can say about this.

Pour is a bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma is nice, with a dry pils malt and a little floral in there. The flavor is where this goes into the tank. The blurb at the top says this "gets sweet on the palate" and wow does it ever. Very cloyingly sweet and heavy. Reminds me of a malt liquor after the aroma.

Bottle, medium stable fluffy head, clear dark gold colour with some coppery taints, aroma of vanila with some caramel and herbal touches flavour of toffee and dried fruits with a strong alcoholic presence that is quite sticky. Quite difficult to drink and not very appealing.

22/11 0.5 l bottle, brought from Czech Republic. It poured golden body with medium sized head. Grainy, slightly eggy aroma. Malty flavor as well, honey, even corn (although I’m aware it is not here), with grainy and bitter dusty notes. Medium in body with quite long, uninteresting and crude finish that reflects the flavor as it was expected. Typical boring pale lager. Rated high? Oh well...

Bottle, small bubbly head, very deep brown colour and quite opaque, aroma of dark bread and dried fruits, same traits continue in the flavour with some hints of charred wood, quite sour in an unpleasant kvass like way. A bad schwarzbier.

bootle, smallish stable head, clear deep golden colour, herbal and spicy with some light malty notes, candy fruity sweetness enveloping the herbal bitterness making it feel coarse and overbearing. Not the best of pilseners.

0,3 fra fat på Cafe Svejk. Mer smak og bitterhet enn standard industripils, men litt rå og metallisk ettersmak. Ikke det helt store.
