Description
Careful, now it's getting romantic! For us at ueberquellbeer is not an exchangeable mass product, but something very serious and real and genuine and truly special. Because it's something brewed by people, not machines. Because in contrast to all the ultra-modern equipment, people have a little more passion to brew passionately. And the prettier hands too. Now, if you're wondering if all this has happened was what our breweries are all about, we can announce full of hops and malt: We brew our bottles at our friends of Schnitzlbaumer in Traunstein. Of course according to our recipes, on the identical plant and under the keen eye of our master brewer. The on-site brewery has 7 tanks, where we produce our core range.

Draught sample at CBF 2018. Slightly hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Nearly no haze in this one! Fruity aroma with citrus and tropical fruits. Nice NEIPA. Without the haze.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, yellow-ish, deep golden colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity and herbal, hoppy aroma, the typical Sorachi coconut flavours are accompanied by citrusy hints of orange, a touch of peppermint and woodruff. Taste is moderately bitter, herbal-grassy and slightly citrusy fruity hoppy, hints of coconut, orange, mandarine, orange zest, a touch of peppermint and woodruff. Interesting hop combination works more homogeneous in the nose, becomes a bit decomposed in taste.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, deep golden to amber colour with a medium-sized off-white foamy head. Mildly fruity hoppy aroma with citrus, zesty notes, bergamot, backed by a honey-ish malty touch. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly bready malty base with hints of caramel and a whiff of honey, accompanied by mildly earthy and fruity hops; dry and moderately bitter hoppy finish with an earthy, woody and mildly fruity tail. Reminds me of a Bitter/ESB. 07.V.18

Sampled from tap at FDDB 2018. Almost clear, golden amber with a thin, off-white head. Sweetish, quite fruity and slightly grassy aroma of pineapple, passion fruit and a touch of pine. Moderately sweet, a bit grassy, quite fruity taste of orange jam, passion fruit, pineapple and some pine, followed by a short, gently bitter, relatively resiny finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite okay, easily drinkable but a bit too tame.

Draft at Naiv. Dark orange, murky, with a frothy head. Citrus, pine and caramel in the aroma. Hint of skunk? Taste is bitter, full of pine. Medium body, light watery note at finish. Not the best.

Not their best beer by any means. Citrus is harsh, body is weak and thin. Bitterness isn't smooth, more like a pop-pale ale. Hamburg brewery.
