Appearance: Cloudy gold, one finger tall white frothy head of medium retention. Aroma and taste: massive ginger, sea buckthorn, malt. Light to medium sweet. Low bitterness. Mouth feel: Medium body, fine carbonation. Overall: Belgian profile killed by ginger.

Tap. Cloudy orange-yellow. Aroma: fruity, tropical, mango, a sweet apple, a little lychee. Taste: sweet, tropical fruits, mangoes, a little tea and herbs, light bitterness, quite good juice.

500ml bottle from Beerometr in Moscow. Pours hazy gold with a large pillowy white head. Aroma is yeast, banana notes, white bread. Taste is banana, malt, wheat. Light bodied and spritzy like a kristallweizen. Haven't had an acceptable hefeweizen from a Russian brewery for quite a while. This will do.
