Look: foggy gold, moderate white head of average retention. Aroma: cereals, grass, sulphur. Taste: light sweet and medium plus bitter. Clean. Sharp and astringent grassy and sulphury hop. Palate: light to medium body. Overall: hop-oriented but not soft.

Look: opaque deep brown with a moderate tan head. Decent lacing Aroma: milk chocolate, coffee, roast, light earth. Taste: light sweet, roasted, coffee and chocolate, just a touch of lactose. Light bitterness. Palate: smooth texture, medium minus body. Short ending. Generally: decent

Look: misty deep golden colour with a decent white head. Aroma: malt, tangerine, peas, esters. Taste: light to medium sweet, malty start. Fruity, citrusy middle. Light peas. Dry and hoppy ending. Solid grapefruit bitterness. Palate: medium body. Soft carbonation. Overall: a basic IPA of secondary freshness and minor flaws.

500ml bottle from Bochka in Moscow. Pours slightly hazy gold with a tall white head. Aroma is floral hops and citrus. Taste is light sweet, malt, floral, mild bitter finish. Carbonation is higher than I would expect.

Pours cloudy amber to orange with a stable off-white head. Aroma: citrus fruit, tropical fruit, dank, nectar malts, minor grass. Medium minus body. Taste: dominant hops. Lots of grapefruit, light grass. Medium plus bitterness. Good.

Pours cloudy amber with a modest well-lacing head. Nose: nectar and honey, citrus fruit, light fermentation off-notes. Medium to full body. Soft carbonation. Taste: sweet robust malts, honey, grapefruit jam, light zest and dank. Medium minus bitterness. Mediocre as a DIPA.

Opaque deep brown to black. Small tan head. Aroma: dark malts, roasted barley, earth, coffee, a hint of dried fruit, cream. Medium to full body. Soft to average carbonation. Taste: rich malts, light roast, cream, coffee, chocolate, dried fruit, tobacco. Light bitterness. Nice stout.
