Can ordered from the brewery by my Mrs. Aroma has light sweetness. Fruity. Citrus edge. Caramel. Cloudy-opaque light gold. Foamy white head. Light bitter. A juicy lemon juice wave then sweeps through. Peripheral bitterness. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Easy drinking which I guess is the idea behind the Portsmouth Brewery beets.... a wider public than Makemake's Sour IPAs.

Keg at Greenwich Brewpub, Southsea. Wondered if this was another new Hants brewery but it 8s the brand Makemake have started using for more traditional brews. Aroma is sweet and malty, with a distinct citrus and banana edge. A slight haze tonthe golden body. This foamy white head. Medium bitter with a sweet and sour edge that is reminiscent of a Hefe. Light bodied. Thin. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. If you were served thus blindfolded would not be surprised if people assumed it was a thin Hefe.
