Hellmalziger, süßlich herber Beginn. Zunehmend trocken, weich würzig, erkennbarer Alkohol. Süffig, minimal bitter, steigend malzig. Langer Abgang, trockener Hintergrund, würzig-bitter, cremig. 10/9/10/10/9/10

Bottle. Hazy pale golden color with white head. Aroma is mild grains, a bit grassy, a little bit of cardboard in the aroma, but okay, it's not the freshest anymore. Taste is nice Hersbrucker flavours, grainy, lightly grassy, dry finish. Silky mouthfeel with natural carbonation and a mineraly bite. Nice!

Clear golden. Aroma is some grapes some prickly pear very bready. Taste is full bodied with good sour sweet body. A bit old but good.

Bottle courtesy of Jonas, cheers Jonas! Shared with the RB München Tasting Group at Jonas's, Garching Tuesday 22nd October 2019. Light gold with a filmy white head, very soft mouthfeel, a little subtle and not really revealing too much at all. Fine, there is a distinct but shy hoppiness, ok but not doing much for me.

Bottle, danke Günther. Hazy golden with tiny floaties, low offwhite head. Almond grainy nose, light flowers. Medium body, mellow, fine sparkly, some chewiness. Orange-blossom, grassy, light kiwi. Aroma was a bit weak, but nice enough on the palate.

500 ml bottle at Gasthof Goldenes Lamm in Rothenburg, Germany. Slightly hazy yellow-golden color, smallish white head. Grainy, malty aroma. Light to medium bodied. Earthy grainy flavor is a touch bit minerally. Slightly lingering grainy bitter finish. Tasted on 8/18/19.

On tap @Ratsstube (Rothenburg ob der Tauber). Dorata limpida, schiuma bianca media. Al naso malto, leggero cereale, leggero citrico, fieno, erba tagliata. In bocca è dolce, con chiusura amara leggerissima. Corpo leggero, carbonazione medio-leggera. Assolutamente anonima.

Bottle, bought at the brewery, just named "dunkel". ABV is the same. malt and milk chocolate in the aroma. Thinnish but flavorful. Malt, cake dough, roasted malt, milk chocolate. More body and this dunkel would be world class. Now it is just a good beer.
