Landwehr-Bräu Landbock hell, Fläschchen von GTM Bokmeyer, Mergentheim. - Orangegelb, klar. - In der Nase herbsüßes, schwach honigartiges helles Malz, überreife Frucht, nur leichte Andeutungen von zitrusfruchtigem Hopfen, Alkohol. - Antrunk mild hellmalzig-süß mit feiner aber etwas blasser kräuteriger Hopfenherbe. Anklänge an Karamelbonbons und Waldhonig. Milder rezent, für einen Bock zu leicht, mild alkoholisch. Im Abgang milde kräuterige Herbe. - Leichter heller Bock, dem es trotz feiner Züge an Wucht und Tiefgang gebricht.

Pours clear amber, reddish, with a lasting, foamy, tan head; some lacing. Aroma of raisin, toast, speculoos, cinnamon, peanut, mocha, plum (weirdly reminded me of 'Sultana' or 'Grany' cookie). It tastes medium fruity sweet, hints of raisin & plum with a bready touch; and light spicy bitter, herbal, some cookie, cinnamon, a bit sour. Dryish, herbal finish, bit fruity & caramelly. Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation. Nice Amber Lager, perhaps not outspoken enough.

Pours clear golden with a lasting, big, foamy, white head; lots of lacing; fizzing. Aroma of citrus, apricot, breadcrust, wheat, grain, yeast. It tastes medium malty sweet, hints of bread, honey, some banana; citric touch in the light grainy bitter middle, a bit yeasty. Dryish, grainy finish, faintly grassy (hoppy), citric & bready. Light to medium body, slick texture, lively carbonation. Flawless, but only plain good.

Medium dark amber color. Very malty nose with tons of unfermented wort in the nose. Smooth mouth. Very malty. Slight sweet, but that provides good body. Nice to find a amber lager that is not super dry but slightly sweet that is half decent

VEry pale golden color. Frothy white head. Fairly aromatic dry hoppy nose with some fruity and grassiness. Light, dry modest bitterness, but not too aggressive. Very quaffable. Pretty Decent stuff.

Tap(Fränkisches Bierfest 2018): Golden, small but stable white head, mild bitter-fruity nose with even milder hoppy spots; light bodied to watery, light bitter-sweet flavour; mild - again - and slightly lingering grainy-bitter finish. Not good...

Tap. Clear deep golden color with creamy white head. Aroma is grainy, juicy malts, caramel. Taste is slightly buttery, caramel, a bit off. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation.Tap. This time, it's very clean, nothing off there, but just a bit unimpressive.

Fläschla: Almost clear, reddish-chestnut-amber coloured, small and rather quickly collapsing off-white head; bitter-sweet aroma of toasted malt and grassy hops; dry bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied and a bit harsh; slightly lingering tart grassy and malty finish. Thin and unharmonic! Another disappointing brew from a less than mediocre franconian brewery...
