Pours a slightly hazy, lemon-orange color, with minimal head. Aroma is floral, with some citrus, some bread. Flavor follows. It has a fairly bitter, hoppy finish.

0,375l from bottle at home shard by Saeglopur, big thanks. dark yellow murky color, small white head. smells grapes, marzipan, strawberries, some wood, bit lactic, some horse radish, very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes strawberries, light grapes, horse radish, citric, lactic, light tannins, bit peppery. finishes quite dry and quite lactic sour with light strawberries, some tannins and some horse radish. rather lactic sour, especially towards the finish. overall quite good one, but sourness overwhelms all the flavours 8, 4, 7, 3, 14

375 ml bottle from MBC. Dark orange, medium hazy body, with a small, yellowish head. Aroma of strawberry, moderate white grapes, some straw, slight vinegar. Tastes similar, with more vinegar. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation. Finishes medium acidic, moderate sweet, wooden, with strawberry, moderate white grapes, some green apple, some vinegar. Tasty. The strawberries are quite prominent, very smooth and fresh. Slightly too acidic, but otherwise really interesting. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 16

Farmhouse ale fruited with Sauvignon Blanc grapes and strawberries, apparently one that gets quite some attention from European beer geeks, thanks to Didier for sharing! From a 37.5 cl bottle with cork. Small, open, snow white rim of foam, quickly dissolving on a cloudy, pale orangey-tinged peach blonde beer. Aroma of sour grapes, lemon juice, indeed sweet and aromatic ripe strawberry, unripe peach, freshly cut cucumber, raw rhubarb, white bread, wet wood hint, grape seeds and grape seed oil, green gooseberries, hint dry white wine. Crisp, lemony sour onset, hints of gooseberry, lots of sour grape but little sweetness from the Sauvignon Blanc; strawberry is noticeable, but rather frugally so, while rather sharp carbon dioxide accentuates the sharpness and sourness; bready core, drying fruity and seemingly lactic acidity, bit vinous with more ‘grapeyness’ towards the end with a tannic grape skin accent and a discreet, but noble background of wooden barrel oakiness. Sharp lemony acidity continues till deep in the finish, where it executes a rather astringent ‘acid burn’, even if this effect is somewhat mitigated by the sweet aspects of grape and strawberry. In all a bit sharp perhaps, but certainly not lacking in balance and complexity, nice fruit sour indeed, but I would hesitate paying the price charged by Mikkeller for it, let alone the prices you already see on the second hand market for this rarity.
