Проект был запущен Алексеем Фадеенко, известным по работе в «Староместном пивоваре» и по участию в проекте Brew Team, и домашним пивоваром Владимиром Аскерко. Желание опередить время и создать пиво, отражающее новые тенденции — комиксы, арт и юмор — привели к тому, что в 2017 году был сварен дебютный сорт Evil Grapefruit.

Cloudy deep yellow with a lovely head. Wheat bread, banana, clove, Citrus fruits, tropical & floral notes. Medium dry. Light to medium hop bitterness. Very good.

500ml can from Pivo i PenaPaki in Moscow. Pours opaque black with a tall beige head. Aroma is pine, citrus, lime, roasted. Taste is light to medium sweet, citrus, tropical, roasted, pine. Medium bitter finish. Full bodied. Highly drinkable. Great one.

500ml can from Pivo i PenaPaki in Moscow. Pours hazy gold with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is wheat, banana, bubble gum. Taste is light sweet, banana, wheat, citrus. Medium bitter finish. Medium bodied. Don’t really see how adding Riwaka really differentiates it from a ‘classic’ hopfenweizen, but whatever, it’s good all the same.

Tap. Dark brown, almost black. Aroma: burnt, caramel, a little coffee and chocolate. Taste: sweet, caramel, lactose, chocolate and coffee with cream, not bad.
