Appearance: opaque deep brown to black. Large tan head of good retention. Aroma: cinnamon, nutmeg, chocolate, roasted barley, cookies, cream, pepper. Taste: moderately sweet. Chocolate, cinnamon, nutmeg upfront. Additional roast, cookies, cream. Moderate chili at ending. Palate: medium body. Average carbonation. Overall: not a great fan of pastry stouts and Tonka beans. This one is well brewed, and tasty.

330ml can from Craft Republic in Moscow. Pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma is cinnamon, chocolate and nuts. Taste is medium sweet, cinnamon, chocolate cake, chilli peppers. Spicy finish. Highly enjoyable.

Appearance: muddy ochre to brown, virtually no head. Aroma: bright blueberries and lactic acid, a hint of vanilla. Taste: medium to heavy sour, light to medium sweet. Lactic, vinous, blueberries, vanilla cake, moderate alcohol. Palate: medium body, average carbonation. Summary: well brewed, pretty bombastic yet simple.

Flavor is sweet, little hot, roast malt, caramel, chocolate cake, tonga nuts, cinnamon, mild chili, alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet finish with a light chili alcohol burn. Appearance: petroleum black, beautiful head of beige colour. Aroma: chocolate cake, waffles, cinnamon, roasted barley, tonka beans. Taste: not overly sweet, roasted, coffee, chocolate, tonka beans, cream, waffles, some hop. Light plus bitterness. Palate: medium to full body, smooth texture, average carbonation. Overall: the aroma has a lot dessert character, the taste is lovely. Brilliant balance.
