Appearance: Opaque deep brown to black with a moderate beige stable hesd. Aroma: Roast, coffee, chocolate. Distant esters and dried fruit. Floral hop. Taste: Light sweet, roasted, coffee and chocolate, floral hop. Distant dried fruit. Low to light ending bitterness. Mouth feel: Medium minus body, appropriate carbonation. Overall: Quite OK.

Appearance: Cloudy deep gold, moderate white frothy head of medium retention. Aroma: Biscuit, strawberry esters, honey. Taste: Light to medium sweet, light plus bitterness. Biscuit, honey, strawberries, grapefruit, grass. Hoppy ending and aftertaste. Mouth feel: Medium minus body, average carbonation. Overall: Pretty unusual. Rather an ale fermentation profile. Not bad.
