Appearance: Opaque deep brown with a small ivory-coloured head of low retention. Aroma: Dark malts, dark chocolate, prunes, distant nail polish esters. Taste: Light to medium sweet, malty estery. Toast, dark chocolate, prunes, just a little touch of nail polish, hop. Light ending hop bitterness. Well hidden alcohol. Mouth feel: Medium body, soft to average carbonation. Summary: Rather good. Not an elite brew nonetheless.
