Two months old. Appearance: Cloudy amber with a moderate white head of decent retention. Aroma: dominant honey and biscuit, additional citrus fruit. Taste: Light plus sweet, no bitterness. Obviously oxidated. Some honey and caramel remain. Low bitterness. Mouth feel: Medium minus body, soft carbonation. Summary: if that (un)fresh, not worth the money.

Appearance: opaque deep brown to black with a tall beige head of good retention. Aroma: roasted, chocolate waffles, coffee liquor, cream, nuts, some citrus hops breaking through. Taste: light to medium sweet and bitter. Roast and toast. Coffee, milk chocolate, nut waffles, brandy, solid hopping. Lingering hoppy ending. Mouth feel: medium body, soft to average carbonation. Summary: surprisingly good given I'm not a pastry fan. A lot of brewers forget about the balance of sweet and bitter. This one is just right.
