Bottle thanks to James. Appearance - opaque black and quite oily in texture. Fawn head. Nose - raisins, chocolate, light booze. Taste - more rich chocolate and definitely coffee this time too. A touch of dried fruit, some roast. Palate - full bodied and creamy. Boozy but dry. Overall - good beer. The coffee isn't too much.

Bottle thanks to James. Appearance - deep amber with a nice neat lacy head. Nose - oranges and some red fruits too, possibly glace cherry. A bit cakey. Taste - marmalade, cherry cake again. Boozy and woody at the back. Palate - medium bodied, sweet but with dry, woody notes. Overall - not an IPA really, but not badly executed. Has elements of barley wine going on.

Bottle thanks to James. Appearance - golden amber and clear. Nice, generous, fluffy head. Nose - bread and subtle banana. And some sort of nutmeg or cinnamon is lurking right enough. Taste - more creamy banana and again some nutmeg. Under layer of brown bread. Palate - light to medium bodied. Creamy and beautifully tapered on the finish. Overall - this is really a very good example of the style.

Bottle thanks to James. It has 'gluten free' noted on it which is one of the tags. Appearance - a bit lively on opening. Golden with a nicely proportioned head. Nose - lemon cake, flowers and custard. Taste - more custard, creamy vanilla. Palate - light bodied and creamy. Not too light though considering the lack of gluten. Reasonably dry finish. Overall - decent.

Bottle thanks to James. Appearance - golden amber with a nicely proportioned head. Nose - orange and honey. Taste - orange barley sweets. A tangy honey liqueur note at the back. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy and slightly sweet middle and end. Overall - it's quite tasty but a little sweet for the style.

Bottle thanks to James. Appearance - golden with steady carbonation and a neat head. Nose - orange and lemon peel mainly. Taste - tea this time. Is it Earl Grey? Herb and spice elements but again citrus is the main player. Palate - light bodied and fresh through middle and finish. Overall - nice.
