Can from Aldi Ellon. Opens with a foamy gush - never a great sign! It pours clear golden - blonde with a decent frothy white head. The aroma is bready, biscuit, cereal, nutty dusty, leafy hops, grass and floral. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, sharp bitterness, leafy, floral, sweet orchard fruits in the mix, bready malt, biscuit, oatcakes and a touch of peppery spice with a drying finish. It's a bit clunky and dirty. Has some depth to it mind you. A mixed bag.

18/7/2022. Can from Flavourly.com. Pours hazy pale yellow orange with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of grapefruit, malt, grain, citrus, touch of herb. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Light body, watery, average carbonation. Bitterness continues to develop, becoming a bit harsh. Nice aroma but not much else I enjoyed.

330ml bottle. Poured a slightly hazy dark brown colour with a short-lived, bubbly tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, dry oaky, vinous. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, with a smooth, roasty, big vinous, dry oaky, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - bright golden orange with a fluffy, snow white head. A wee touch lively on opening. Nose - orange, biscuit, dank and a touch soapy. Taste - creamy orange, caramel and brown bread. Palate - light to medium bodied, creamy middle and light bitterness on the finish. Overall - a bit sweet for the style, but happy to drink it.
