pretty bitter for only late hop additions. I think my can might have been the last on the canning line, it had a lot of yeast bits and was quite hazy. 2nd can still hazy but less yeasty bits. Light malty flavour with grapefruit bitterness.

Can from Aldi Loco Works. It pours clear amber with a decent frothy white head. The aroma is grassy, zingy citrus, lemon peel, grapefruit, lemongrass, piney sting and lemon sherbets. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, pleasing grassy bitterness, pine, fresh mint, lemongrass, straw, clean malt base, lemon and grapefruit with a drying finish. Average body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Quite an interesting hop number. Enjoyable.

Can from Aldi Loco Works. It pours black with a thick deep head. The aroma is rather lovely.... rich roasted malt, good depth of chocolate, cacao nibs, gateaux, nutty, toasted brown sugar, fresh coffee and espresso martini. The taste is dry, rich roasted malt, bitter - sweet, toasty, cacao nibs, toothy, nutty, forrero rocher, praline, coffee, umami vibes, liquorice, touch of toasted brown sugars, chocolate digestive biscuits and a good kick of chocolate with a toasted cacao finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. A cracking 5%ish stout. Plenty of flavour and ludicrously good value.
