Not sure if I got a duff one. It was pretty flat and most of the flavour I got was the Glenfarclas aging which is fine but didn't get any of the fruity, malty, warming booze you'd hope for from a barley wine. Disappointing.

Sampled at Borefts Pre-Tasting 2019. Dark brown color, decent sized dark brown head. Aroma and flavor (but especially aroma) makes me think of a dessert. Sweet, chocolate, and some red fruit. Alright.

Sampled at Borefts Pre-Tasting 2019. Gusher. Dark brown to black color small beige head. Aroma is malts, brown malts, coffee. Taste malts, some coffee again, don't think I really get chillies fortunately. Meh, don't like it.

Sampled at Borefts Pre-Tasting 2019. Golden color, average sized white head. Aroma is sweetish ripe fruity hoppy. Flavor though is cooked cabbage, weird unpleasant bitterness. Don't like it.

Bottle at home .. copper .. small white head ...soft bozzy toffee ... light soapy malts nose ... Big alcohol.. Dry big hop... ligth soapy... light sweet fruit ..ok its too hop oils.. its not for me just now .. but think this could mellow out to be a cracker .. ligth bitter finish

ABV: 4.1%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity malt, sweet malt, pale malt, grass, herbal. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, pale malt, fruity malt, grass, herbal.
