Würzig herber Antrunk mit abnehmender Süße. Die Würzigkeit bleibt konstant, spritzig, voluminös werdend. Sparsam hopfig. Schönes würziges Bier mit aromatischem und weichem Malzfinish. 8/9/10/10/9/10

Leerer, gleichzeitig säuerlicher Antrunk. Spät etwas getreidig, wässrig. Unnötiges Getränk, Wasser mit einer Zitronenscheibe hätte mehr Aromen. 9/4/8/4/7/4

Bottle: Deep golden, unclear, slowly collapsing medium-sized off-white head, moderate grainy-toasty nose, some "woody" hoppy traces in the background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, chewy MF; slightly lingering sweetish-toasty finish with a delicate hoppy aftertaste. Not very aromatic, but all in all a well drinkable, chewy brew…

(swing top bottle) Almost clear, amber to copper colour with a big and slightly off-white foamy head. Strawy and slightly cara-malty aroma with a faintly hoppy background. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Cara-malt upfront with strawy and slightly bready spots, also doughy notes; hops shine through towards the still very malty finish with a present touch of caramel in the aftertaste. Still the typical German Festbier/Märzen of a slightly darker kind. 20.VI.13

Pour is clear, clear gold, fizzy white head that doesnt last. Nose is nice sweet grassy malt. More soft sweetness in the flavour.
