Bottle: Clear, amber coloured, medium sized loose off-white head, that collapses very slowly and leaves a little lace; moderate sweetish-caramelly nose with a light fresh hoppy breeze; moderate sweet-bitter flavour; light to moderate caramelly-bitter finish. Average Dunkel, but still quite pleasant.....

(bottle) Clear, dark brown colour with a medium-sized off-white foamy head. Sweet toast-malty aroma with nutty notes, shades of vanilla and herbal hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Toast-malty with a light sugary edge, caramel and a nutty touch, combined with shy herbal hoppy notes; medium-dry bitter-sweet finish. Decent Dunkel. 27.I.10

(bottle) Hazy, chestnut-brown with a mid-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Slightly dusty dark malty aroma with a moderate wheaty note, accompanied by a ripe and slightly vinous fruity touch of berries and grapes. Slightly sour flavour, light bodied with a light to moderate carbonation. Dark malty and slightly wheaty taste with sour-fruity notes and shy clovy spices; slim and slightly tart and wheaty finish. Starts good, ends a bit bland. 27.I.10

bottle, mot Dank nach Bochum! Clear golden colour with a large white head. Malty-hoppy nose. Siolid malty base with lots of herbal aromatic hops that add plenty of character. I liked it.

Bottle: Greenish-golden, not completely clear, smaller - but quite stable - white lacy head; grainy-strawy nose with a light citrussy touch; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; strawy flavours in the bitter-grainy finish. Really not overwhelming......

Bottle: Golden, big fluffy to beaten-egg-white-like head; grainy-malty nose with some hoppy influences; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; increasing bitterness in the the grainy-strawy finish. O.K., but really not great.......
