Fleisch, Copenhagen as Vollbier Hell on tap: pours golden with a white head. Aroma is standard bready lager. Taste is somewhat sweet and low in hops. Not bad, but nothing spezial.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, brown colour with a beige and diminishing frothy head. Slightly nutty dark malty aroma with notes of caramel, molasses and a whiff of dried fruits. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Dark malt character with nutty notes, caramel, toasted grains; moderately sweet dark malty and slightly nutty finish with a tinge of alcohol at the very end. Still a decent dark Bock. 11.VII.16

(bottle) Clear, chestnut brown colour with a beige mid-sized foamy head. Discreetly toasted malty aroma with hints of caramel and nuts, also a whiff of sugar beet. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, rather light bodied with a medium carbonation. Mildly toasted malt character with traces of caramel, slightly leafy notes and delicately herbal hops far in the background; moderately sweet and restrained bitter hoppy finish. Drinkable. 05.VI.16
