Bottle, bb 05.09.18 (from Rimi). Pours amber with whiteish head. Aroma is grainy, malty, sweet. Flavor is sweet and bitter, grains, malt, some hops, floral notes. Finish is dry. 50cl bottle from Prisma, Tallinn. Pours clear chestnut to mahogany coloured with a moderate, off-white to beige head. Malty and slightly roasty aroma with notes of dark, dried fruits, caramel and herbal hops. Moderate to medium sweet with mild malty flavours and ditto bitterness. 33cl bottle from Prisma, Kristiine. Pours hazy dark golden to amber, with a moderate, off-white head. Malty and caramelly aroma with mild fruity notes and hints of herbs. 50cl bottle from Prisma, Kristiine. Pours slightly hazy golden with a fairly large, white head. Malty and grainy aroma with notes of honey and herbs. Bottle, BB 27.10.2017 (from Stockmann). A massive gusher! Lost more than half of the bottle to the kitchen floor. Pours dark brown with beige head. Aroma is roast, esthers, malt, some dustiness. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, malt, dark chocolate, some garininess, a bit of oats and rubber. Overall: this is really good. Reminds me some good porters like Fuller’s. Bottle, BB 15.09.2017 (from Stockmann). Pours amber wtih whiteish head. The head stays. Aroma is grainy, malty, bit of cardboard. Flavor is sweet and slightly bitter, malt, grains, some cardboard. Finish is malty, faint hops. Feels very smooth. Overall: would like more bitterness and less sweetnes, but I guess then it wouldn’t be helles anymore... Clean and solid lager, better than many "crafty" beers.
