Dunkler, etwas buttriger Malzantrunk. Mild würzig-herb, buttrig bleibend, geringe Süße. Geringe Karbonisierung, herb-würzig, dabei steigt die Herbe an, das Bier wird runder. Nicht sonderlich. 8/6/6/6/8/6

At the source. Can’t see it, it’s in clay. Dusty aroma. Taste is peppery hay. Nice.

Pours deeply dark, caramelly brown. medium sized, pillowy white head with low to lower average stability. Smell is dusty, some DMS? Taste has diacetyl, but it kinda works with the beer ( even tho it’s certainly to high in concentration) some roasty features, uncer a buttery body. bit ashy, but very, very subtile. high in carbonation, medium in body. Mild bitter, fading malty aftertaste.

Pours very clear, darker amber / light caramelly brown. medium sized, very creamy and stable white head. Smell is sweet, complex undertone of earthyness, mild caramel, dark fruits ( dades ) . Taste is tad bitter, somewhat metallic, especially towards the end. not as sweet as expected. Medium to medium high carbonation. Medium to medium low body. Mild breadcrusty notes. OK beer in general.

Bottle @ Dolles Bockstival - Bocken varer lige til påske, 5000 Odense C. Pours amber copper with a small white head. Alcohol, grains, marzipan, warmth. Quite old school I think - or I would like some fresher hops here.
