Description

Horus Aged Ales is a 100% barrel aged brewery located in Oceanside, California. We believe in pushing the boundaries on how much beer can evolve through resting in oak by using a variety of different wine and spirit barrels, adding exotic fruits, and fermenting spontaneously. The complexity of the beer portrays our passion for experimentation and patience required to produce such a unique beverage. Horus has been a decade long dream that is finally coming true and we look forward to introducing our exclusive beer to the fine people of San Diego County.

[ As Horus Aged Ales / Toppling Goliath Push the Boundaries ].
ABV: 14.8%. Cloudy dark black brown colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, barrel, coffee, almonds, vanilla. Flavor is heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, barrek, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, almonds, candy, vanilla sweet, rich. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - smooth, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20210925]

[ As Horus Aged Ales / Equilibrium Baza Bonne Bouche ].
ABV: 13.8%. Cloudy dark black colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, drk malt, marshmallow, marzipan - almonds, chocolate - vanilla, graham crackers, chocolate - coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, chocolate, marshmallow, vanilla, sweet, cake - graham crackers, chocolate - coffee, rich, thick. Body is medium to full, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20210925]
