Horus Aged Ales is a 100% barrel aged brewery located in Oceanside, California. We believe in pushing the boundaries on how much beer can evolve through resting in oak by using a variety of different wine and spirit barrels, adding exotic fruits, and fermenting spontaneously. The complexity of the beer portrays our passion for experimentation and patience required to produce such a unique beverage. Horus has been a decade long dream that is finally coming true and we look forward to introducing our exclusive beer to the fine people of San Diego County.

4 oz pour on draft at B Side. Hazy yellowish orange with off-white head. Aromas of oak, stone fruit. Tastes of stone fruit, oak, peach, tart acidic notes. Light body with a dry finish.

On tap at Funk Factory. Pours a hazy orange gold with a bubbly white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has tart tangerine and wine with a touch of funk underlying. Flavor has tangerine and dry wine with a bit tartness with a touch of funk underlying.

Sampled from the tap at Funk Factory. Pours a cloudy orange peach with a near white head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma has notes of sour apricot and peach with a note of dry wine supporting. Flavor has tart peach and apricot with a light wine note and a bit of oak.

16 ounce can from Uptown. Pours a cloudy orange hue with a small white head. A nice soft citrus nose. Sweet oranges, light bitterness, soft, very smooth. Very well balanced and tasty. Solid IPA.
