Pours a hazy, dark gold, with rather smallish head (I was waiting and waiting for the haze as I poured--finally, toward the bottom, some haze appeared). Aroma is grass, bread, maybe a touch of pine. Flavors are citrus, bread, pine. Mouthfeel might be a touch on the thin side. Mild hop bitterness in the finish.

Pours a dark brown that is still noticeably a dark, reddish brown (most black IPAs I've had are truly black), with mid-sized head. Aroma is roasted grain, burnt toast, some pine hops. Flavors follow. Mouthfeel is clean and crisp.
