Autumn Brew Review 2016. Black beer. They did a good job. Heavily alcoholic, heavily roasted malt, some dried fruit. Palate is just a little thin, and they are serving it too cold, like they did with the doppelbock.

All Pints North 2016. Appearance is appropriate. Dark copper color. They got they flavor and aroma right. Caramel, a little sweet, not as sweet as the best German examples but a great take on the style from a small town brewery. Served too cold, and I believe this hid some flavor and aroma.

All Pints North 2016. Brown color. raspberry in the aroma and the flavor but it could use some more sweetness, which I think would really bring the raspberry out. As it is, a dry, malty beer with some berry character. it is not tart at all.

Full pour at the brewery in a much larger glass than you would ever see in Cologne. Light grain aroma, fine for a kolsch. Flavor has grain and malt. Carbonation seems a little high, but this is very close to the real thing from Koln.

Full pour atthe brewery. Dark brown color. Aroma has alcohol, caramel, grain, and some dried/dark fruit. Flavor starts sweet with fruit, some red grape and more caramel. Alcohol flavor follows, and ends with dry grain. I like this.

Winterfest 2016. Gold color. Good hop aroma, citrus and grapefruit. Dry on the palate, some hop flavor with more citrus and a dry aftertaste. Simple, but good. The mosaic was a good choice here.
