Bottle: Clear, pale golden coloured, visible carbonation, stable, quite fluffy white head; grassy hops in the nose, wet cardboard too; moderate bitter flavour; these cardboardy aromas again in the grassy, bitter finish; light bodied to watery. Typical boring german Piks, unworthy of a franconian brewer..........

Bottle: Clear, pale golden, thin white head, sweet (pale-)malty nose, traces of grain; light sweetish and very faint bitter flavour, light bodied to watery; sweetish malty finish with some citric notes, fizzy mouthfeel; drinkable, but no glory............

Clove, tart citric aroma. Milky yellow, big creamy head. Wheat edges, heavy on the clove, banana and cherry indeed, somewhat dusty and minerally. Lightbodied, a bit oily mouthfeel. Curious weissbier, but kind of falls in line with what I have tried from northern bavaria.

(bottle) Clear golden colour with a foamy white medium head. Floral hoppy nose in good combination with sweet honeyish malts. Bittersweet flavour, medium bodied, crispy mouthfeel. Moderately sweet malty taste with a well-rounded hop profile, aromatic floral hoppy finish with a nice bitterness. Quaffable Pilsener.

(bottle) Clear and pale golden colour with a foamy white medium head. Sweet malty and grainy nose. Sweet flavour, malty grain taste, fizzy, very light bitter and shy hoppy finish. Not really bad, just dispensable.

Bottle: Dark amber coloured; big fluffy off-white head; malty nose with a tinge of fruitiness, a bit sourish; mild sweetih-malty taste, soft, medium bodied; malty finish nearly without any traces of hops; well drinkable, soft, but not that thrilling.......

(bottle) Dark red, almost brown colour with foamy off-white head. Slightly roasted malty nose with hints of caramel and floral hops. Initially malty but with a very dry, bitter and lasting aftertaste with a nice fruity note. A well made Landbier. What leaves a little sour note in my mouth, is that former General of the Luftwaffe Albert Kesselring - after WW II accused and convicted for war crimes committed under his command in Italy during the end of the war - also came from Marktsteft/Franconia, but let´s better stay apolitical here.
