Botle from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Cap date is 24/03/13. Pours hazy orange gold with a creamy/foamy 3 finger off-white head. The aroma is to die for. Lush floral and citric. Med+ body. Flavor is lots of floral and citric hop over a crushed, leveled harsh roast malt spine. The hop just never stops, and it’s wonderful. With time the bitterness approaches harshness, but perhaps that’s too harsh. OMFG, this is a wonderful experience.

Bottle, 5.8%. Distinct caramelly hop aroma, refreshing and slightly cheesy. Cloudy copper colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is nicely hoppy, like the aroma, but less caramelly. Good bitterness, not too powerful, quite clean.

Bottle. It’s an unclear, orangey golden beer with a dense, finger-thick off-white head. Nice lacings. The aroma is very piney and grapefruity, with some space left for maltyness. Flavorwise there’s a lot of bitterness and green pine cones, some sugary peaches too. A bit too sweet I think. It’s full-bodied, smooth and quite nicely carbonated, finishing bitter and with flavors of grapefruit and pine cones. A nice beer indeed, but in my opinion a bit on the sweet side. 110803

Big offwhite head. Clear amber body with light carbonation. Strong pineapple and resin aroma with strawy notes. Bittersweet resiny wooden strawy taste with pineapple notes. Mid-bodied. Mild mouthfeel. Dryish strong, fruity pineapple aftertaste with salty grassy notes. Too harshly hoppy, but otherwise nice. (0.33l bottle, Salling, Århus.)

Big dark brown lasting head. Opaque black body. Deep roasty resiny coffee aroma with licorice notes. Dry-sweet roasty resiny coffee taste with burnt notes. Mid-bodied. Fizzy, sharpish mouthfeel. Very clean. Dry pine needles and roasty coffee aftertaste with acrid earthy resiny notes. Burnt resiny taste lingers. Nice. Quite powerful, yet still balanced. (0.33l bottle, Salling, Århus.)

12 oz. bottle, split with Matts_Property, pours a cloudy peachy orange with a white head. Aroma is insanely hoppy, with truckloads of citrus hops, some tropical fruits (peach, mango), loads of grapefruit, with not much malt backing to be detected. Flavour begins caramely and fruity, even sweet at the beginning, then the mountains of hops pummel through and completely coat your palate, leaving an uncompromising hop destruction of your palate. Excellent.
