Draft. A dark red beer with no head. The aroma has notes of red wine, wood, and black currant. The flavor is like sour juice with strong notes of black currant, wood, and vinegar, leading to a tart finish. Thick body.

Bottle @ Home. Pours black with a huge tan head. Aroma of grapefruit, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. Taste is hoppy at first, grapefruit, then overtaken by roasted malt, coffee and chocolate notes. Didnt really taste any smoke. Medium to full creamy body, very soft carbonation, long sticky semi bitter finish. Good one. 250411

Bottle, 8%. The aroma starts off fruity, but it turns out that it is really from the hops, grassy style. Also some roasted malt and salt liquorice. Black colour. Big stable creamy dark brown head. The flavour starts off roasted, semi-hard roasted. Turns sweetish and hoppy. More grassy hops. Finishes off with hard roasted malt, hint of roast barley bitterness. Creamy aftertaste and mouthfeel. Well-balanced.
