Bügelverschlußflasche (Dank an Quack-Duck !): Deep amber coloured, clear, small, but persistent off-white foam, sticking to the glass; delicate sweet-dark-malty and nutty nose, caramel and roasted malt hidden in the wings; dry (malty-)bitter flavour; traces of caramel in the bitter sweet finish. Pleasant to drink........

(swing top bottle, from quack-duck) Clear, dark mahogany colour with a fluffy tanned foam, slowly lacing. Slightly dusty, mild-roasty malty aroma with a touch of caramel, cacao and a whiff of hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Toast-malty taste, notes of caramel; quite slim, malty finish with toffee and faint herbal hops. Not exceptional, but likeable.

(bottle, traded with quack-duck) Clear, golden colour with a foamy white medium head. Shy, light-sweet, strawy, grainy aroma with a whiff of honey and traces of spicy hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium to light bodied. Grainy malty taste with a touch of honey towards the finish, which is slightly sweet and a bit sticky with light herbal hoppy notes. Okay but nothing world-shaking.

Bottle. Clear light yellow golden color with a small fair lacing white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet, grain, fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Good balance. Body is light to medium, texture is watery. Nice and easy to drink.

Bottle. Purchased at a rest stop somewhere east of Zurich (apparently the Swiss don’t trust the truck drivers as much as the Germans). Sweet malt aroma and flavor - clear golden color with small head.. Could only handle a few drinks before I had to dump it.

Metallic golden, with ever so slightly yellowish, dense, whipped eggwhite-like head. Herbal nose, pilsnermalt, fresh greenery. Quite sweet, very malty, grains. Very slight bitterish lining retronasal, but not enough to be called hoppy. Quite fullbodied brew for a rather discretly alcoholic beer. Quite prickly, carbonised MF. Soft, mild Festbier. It’s typically well-made, but cannot aspire to any real greatness. Thanks for this rare bird, Sebastian!

Blond color. Poor aroma. Poor taste, some cereals, high bitterness. Unfortunately, it is common in Switzerland to find such beers.

Bottle. Fresh barley aroma - slight sweetness. Golden yellow with small head. Sweet barley malt flavor with mild hops finish. Decent body. A smooth drinking beer - above average for European lagers.

(Bottle 33 cl) Fully golden with loads of impurities in the brew. Head is tall, dense and quite stable. Lager like flavour with a beautifully spiced touch from the hemp. Hard to describe, but very nice. Funny how the well-behaved Swiss have this thing about hemp beers... 051102

Amber colour, watery aroma, watery flavour, some hazelnut towards the finish but that's all. A disappointment.
