28/06/2011 50cl can @ home - BB: 2/3/2012 (2011-288) Thanks to Johnny for the can!
Cloudy amber beer, white creamy head, dissipates immediately, bit adhesive. Aroma: malts and musses (yes, wtf!). MF: ok carbon, light body, watery texture. Taste: citrus notes, faint hops, dirty, stale. Aftertaste: citrus, medicinal bitterness. I does not like at all...

Bottle (kindly delivered by Quack-Duck!): Deep golden, cloudy, big beaten egg-white-like stable off-white head; first bubble-gum and bananas, later yeast and lemons in the nose; moderate to solid sweet-sourish flavour, almost medium bodied, smooth; increasing sourish-lemony fruitiness in the mild wheaty/bananey finish. Chapeau: a very nice Weizen.....

Bügelverschlußflasche (Dank an Stephan!): Greenish-golden, slightly hazy, very slowly collapsing fluffy white head with a good lacework; mild grassy-grainy nose; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, relatively light bodied for a beer of 5.2%, short grassy-bitter finish. Yawn......

(swing top bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Hazy, yellow colour with a tall foamy white head. Grainy malty aroma with chalky notes and a shy herbal hoppy touch. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Grainy malt-character, quite simple and straight, except for some shy herbal notes. Boring but likeable. 30.III.11

(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Cloudy, deep golden to light-amber colour with a tall but non-persistent and off-white foamy head. Yeasty and intensively bubblegum-fruity aroma with wheaty notes, a touch of banana and citrus and mildly phenolic spices. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crisp carbonation. Wheaty, slightly yeasty and fruity taste with obvious notes of bubblegum; mildly sweet and slightly bitter finish with fruity notes and a touch of phenolic spices. Classical Weizen. Good. 30.III.11

bottle from Blaser Kreuzlingen. Cloudy brownish-golden colour, large off-white head. Fruity-yeasty nose. Very wheaty, only shy hints of fruit, not as heavy on banana as many examples of the style. Wheaty, yeasty, with shy hints of honey, vanilla, clove and caramel. Ver nice.

*** SWISS BEER # 150 *** bottle from Getränke Blaser Kreuzlingen. Hazy pale yellow colour, large white head. Malty nose. Medium-bodied, malty base with hints of dough and bread, also biscuits, shy but pleasant hoppy finish that adds a grassy touch. Very "Swiss" beer, flavourwise.

Bottled. A golden beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw, leading to a dry and hay-like finish. Mild.
