Fast klare orange goldene Farbe, mittelgroße weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch getreidig malzig, helles Malz, neutral. Geschmack getreidig malzig, süß, kaum hopfig, belanglos.

Sampled from bottle at Craft Beer Festival Graz.
Dark amber to copper body, with a medium, creamy, beige-yellow head.
Aroma of toast, caramel, grass, some red fruits, some glue notes.
Taste follows this pretty much.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes roasty, sweet, with toast, malts and some grass.

OK. Average bock beer, quite one-dimensional, but good to drink, with a well hidden ABV. Some unclean glueish notes though.

Black body, with a small, creamy, coffee-colored head.
Aroma of roast, coffee, dark chocolate, vegetables.
Tastes of coffee, toast, dark chocolate, some liquorice, subtle dark fruits.
Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes roasty, quite dry, toasty, with some coffee, some liquorice.

Good, but nothing special. The nose is quite unclean, taste is better, but a bit one-dimensional. There are much better Stouts from Austria.

0,1l from bottle at Craft Beer Festival Graz as "Noar St. Ephens Stout 6.5%" shared with Saeglopur. very black color, small off-white head. smells spices, some coffee, nuts, smells a bit like dishwashing soap, some licorice, quite like the smell. medium to full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of dried fruits, plums, some licorice, a bit soapy / dish washing soap again, light raisins, mulberry notes, light glueish notes. finishes with licorice and mulberry notes. quite like it, not really any roast notes on this one, rather strong licorice, and a light uncleanliness, but overall good.

0,1l from bottle at Craft Beer Festival Graz as "Erzbergbräu Alter Bock 7.2%" shared with Saeglopur. amber clear color, small off-white head. smells malty sweet, spices, light buttery, some grass, bread. decent smell, has a light unclean note though. full body, quite bubbly carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes spices, rather malty sweet, bread, some grass, some fruity notes, plums, oranges. finishes a bit bitter / sweet with plums and notes of oranges. decent bock, smell has a light uncleanliness, taste is decent. overall decent beer.

Bottle. Very clean classic German-style lager, only light diacetyl. Classic German hops, grassy, herbal, actually quite good.

500 flip top bottle at home shared with gf. Bottled 15.09.2015. BB 31.10.2015. orange almost clear color, medium big off-white head. smells grains, tobacco, light herbs, malty sweetness, light citric notes. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of tobacco, grains, very light sweetness, some herbs. finishes with light herbal bitterness and grains. decent, bitterness on the taste is has a unpleasant side though.

0,33l at austrian beer challenge, split by 4. Bottled 11.06.2015, BB 11.10.2015. black color, small tan head. Smells roasted, coffee, spices, light smoke, plums. Nice smell. light to medium body, soft carbonation. tastes roasted, bread, some fruits. rather light taste but overall decent.

0,1l from bottle at Craft Beer Festival Graz as "Erzbergbräu ai pi öi 6,5%" shared with Saeglopur. 14.11.2015. amber lightly hazy color, small white head. smells a bit dusty, light fruitiness, grass, herbs, grapefruity, light parfume, light spices. decent smell. medium to full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of grass, grains, light parfume, flowery, rose water, tobacco, light fruity note, citric, lightly grapefruity. finishes with grass, herbal and some tobacco notes with a light bitterness. decent enough, liked the smell a bit better than the taste, hops are a bit stale and not very crisp. overall drinkable.

Medium to full body, light carbonation, soft mouthfeel. Tastes a bit stale, citric, oranges, flour, yeast. Finishes with bread and citric notes. Okish, liked the smell a bit better than the taste..
