Smooth and intense floral hops. Lots of hop oil with fruity malt there. Banana, hints of grain. Easy to drink, hops in the aftertaste, grain there as well with a fruity floral sourness in the end. Great!

Erhöhte Karbonisierung. Mild süßer, dumpf bitter-hopfiger Beginn. Leicht kräutrig mit alkoholischen Tendenzen, etwas würzig, der Hopfen steigert sich ein wenig. Hefig, etwas blumig, Noten von Laktose, trockener Hintergrund. Insgesamt gut ausbalanciert. 7/9/11/10/8/10

750ml bottle. Murky, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Intense, juicy, tropical and citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of mango, lemon, hints of passion fruit, orange, grapefruit, woody pineapple, some grassy aspects as well. Taste is sweet-ish, oaty and pale malty, and considerably bitter, tropical and citrusy fruity hoppy, peppery spicy yeasty, notes of mango, passion fruit, lemon, orange, grapefruit, some grassy hop as well; lingering, bitter hoppy finish. Watery-oily texture, dry, slightly pungent palate, coarse, lively carbonation. Juicy fruity, immensely bitter hoppy [(or maybe the hop bitterness is reinforced by the peppery yeasty spiciness), feels definitely more pungent than floppy 30 IBUs], overcarbonated, too much yeasty interference in the end - pretty good but not flawless.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orangey, dark golden colour with small, frothy, fading, white head. Wheaty malty and yeasty fruity aroma, hints of apple, pear, banana. Taste is sweet, wheaty malty, yeasty fruity, notes of red and yellow apple, pear, banana, dry, leafy, hoppy overtones; slightly delayed citrusy fruity hoppy notes of orange, mandarine. Oily texture, creamy palate, soft to flat carbonation. Very nice fruitiness, not as banana-dominated as most others; sadly not as good in the B categories (appearance / mouthfeel). Quite tasty!

330ml bottle. Opalescent, amber colour with small to average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Fruity, slightly piney, minimally grassy, hoppy aroma, caramel malty background, hints of red and yellow apple, a biscuity touch of speculoos. Taste is dry, slightly fruity, minimally citrusy and piney hoppy, caramel malty basis with subtle sweetness and a biscuity touch of speculoos, hints of lemon, orange, orange peel, red and yellow apple. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, soft carbonation. Could be more crisp for an authentic Californian Pale Ale; not bad, though.
