Bottle from Yamamoto. This is the nama version. Rich, fruity nose, orange, pineapple, peaches, spice. Oily appearance with a hint of carbonation. Thick and full flavor, nice fruit, oily palate, a touch of booze. Pretty nice.

720 ml bottle from Yamamoto. Cap blew off to the ceiling. Estery, ricey nose, stone fruits, touch of caramel. Sweet, fruity, rice pudding, light vanilla and caramel. Full-flavored and full bodied. Lightly carbonated which I did not like at first, but it helps to keep the body from getting too heavy. Very tasty stuff. These guys rock. And this was the cheapest bottle they had today from them. Solid.

Bottle from Yamamoto. Autumn release, nama genshu. Rich, fruity nose, melon, peach, rice, some seltzer and minerals. Clear, icy, lightly sparkling. Sweet and fruity flavor, oranges, grapes, melon, tropical. Lightly effervescent. Fabulous fruit flavors.

Bottle from Yamamoto.Grainy, rice nose, rich fruits, esters, peach, melon. Cap blew off the bottle. Lightly carbonated. Sweet, estery, rice, quite fruity, melon, light mango stink, nice fruitiness. Nice tingly carbonation. Very nice stuff.

Taster at Jam. Estery, fruity nose, with tonic water and sulphur. Clear, with several small bubbles that are sticking to the glass. Not active carbonation. Orange and estery with minerals. A bit like a sake tonic. Light carbonation. Weird. Don’t really dig it all that much.

Taste at Plus Sake. 1 year aged version. Slightly yellow, aged, grainy nose, with somewhat roasty rice. Sweet and a bit syrupy, aged flavor coming through. Mizuame rice candy. Sweet, rich, and lovely.
