From a 375ml can on 3/10/2024. Pours a clear light amber with a biggish head. Smells lightly malty with a touch of coffee. Taste wise, you get a caramel malt backbone, with a good dash of nuttiness, a big slash of coffee and a firmly bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. What a cracking little beer this is. Consumed a bit over a week after these guys closed up shop for good. Another very sad loss for the Australian brewing scene.

From a 375ml can on 14/9/2024. Pours near black with a small head. The nose has some roasty, coffee and pine notes. Tastes of dark chocolate, coffee and a good dash of vegemite, with a firm lingering roasty pine/resin bitterness. Fullish body with average carbonation. Solid enough though could use a touch more sweetness up front.

From a 375ml can on 7/9/2024. Pours a clear light amber with a medium head. The nose features lots of orange, caramel and some light pine. The flavour follows suit - some sweet orange and lemon on a big caramel malt backbone, with some nuttiness presenting. Like any good WC the bitterness is pronounced, with heaps of tongue coating resin. The palate is a touch sticky and the carbonation moderate. The WC IPA is one style which most Aussie brewers consistently fail to nail when compared to the good ones brewed by the yanks, but this one is a cracker. Have very much drifted to hazies but this one could well become a regular.

Pours a hazy light dirty golden with a small head. Smells lightly fruity with a touch of vanilla in the mix. Tastes sweet and fruity with a moderately bitter finish with a combo of spice and tang. Has a creamy palate and moderate carbonation. A truly smashable and very tasty number.

From a 375ml can on 26/10/2023. Pours a clear deep golden with barely any head. Has a very light honeyed nose. Tastes lightly sweet with hints of honey and vanilla, followed by a gentle bitterness. The body is light and thin, the carbonation average. Not nearly as interesting as the blurb on the can suggests and a bit underwhelming

From a 375ml can on 11/1/2022. Pours a clear deep goldn with a medium head. Smells of citrus and a bit of pine. Features orange lemon and perhaps a hint of pineapple against a biscuity malt background. Medium with average carbonation. Unremarkable but quite solid. I'm pretty sure Tim Rogers wouldn't object to downing a few.

From a 375ml can on 1/11/2020 (courtesy of Desmond). Pours a deep golden/copper colour with a big uneven head. there's not too much to the nose, a bit of sweet malt and a hint of fruit. Thankfully it's much more interesting on the sip - a big and dash of caramel and biscuit, some medium sweet citrus, followed by some pretty assertive hops, giving it a dry pine/resin finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A nicely put together, rather tasty APA.

From a 330ml bottle on 17/7/2019. Pours a deep brown with the barest of heads. The nose features lots of coffee and bit of chocolate. On the sip, it's fairly sweet with chocolate and lactose, with quite pronounced coffee flavours, featuring a mild roasty bitterness, which balances it out quite nicely. Medium bodied with a slightly creamy texture, and average carbonation. A really nice little stout.

From a 330ml bottle on 27/1/2019 (shared with Butz). Pours a deep brown with a small head. Has a very pleasant coconut and chocolate nose. It's primarily coconut and chocolate in flavour, but it has a slightly odd, almost lemony finish that doesn't quite fit. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Okay, but smells better than it tastes
