200ml draught at Tromsø Mikrobryggeri. Patchy surface, minimal lacing, hazed amber coloured body. Moderate smell of doughy fruits. Blended taste profile of yeasty fruits, dough and mid-tart berries. Mid-dry, fruity tartness to the ending. Medium bodied. Fair enough. (Tromsø 25.06.2019).

200ml draught at Tromsø Mikrobryggeri. Hazed copper coloured body, filmy layer, spotty lacing. Moderate bread-like malts on the nose, mid-dry. Mixed taste of grainy malts, dark fruits, slightly yeasty. Mid dry malt-fruity ending. So and so (Tromsø 25.06.2019).

Svart. Filmskum med litt farge. God melkesjokoladearoma. Smaken røstet malt og lakris. Myk munnfølelse. Lett tørr avslutning. Utmerket.

330ml bottle, #446, at the brewpub. Lacing rings down the glass from a remaining fawn-coloured head. Coal black body, very nice. Promising roasted chocolate malts on the nose. Fine blended taste of black chocolate, liquorice and coffee. Roasted finish. A classic, well-made stout. Maybe the best beers from the brewery so far. (Tromsø 08.06.2019).

On tap at Bryggeri 13, Tromsø (as Bryggeri 13 Pale Ale). Hazy straw coloured without any head. Mild fruity aroma with some yeasty notes and not much more. Moderate sweet with fairly low flavour intensity and without much carbonation to speak of. 330ml bottle, #441, picked up at Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. Shared with Finn. The noisy pour reveals a big white head over a cloudy golden body. Spotty lacing. Moderate aroma of grain and ripe fruits. Fruity flavours, moments of lemon and apricot, doughy. Mid-dry fruity endnotes. Accepted. (Tromsø 06.05.2019).
