330ml bottle, #297, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. A tight, two-finger thick, off-white head reduced to a patchy layer. Next to clear dark brown body. Clingy lacing. Plain caramel malty nose. Mixed taste of toffee and caramel, lightly spiced. Mid-dry and mid-sweet end. Rather smooth on the swallow. Pretty alright and true to the season. (Tromsø 12.12.2017).

Hazy amber colour, medium-sized creamy white head. Light fruity citrusy aroma. Light-bodied. Citrus and woody hoppyness but otherwise somewhat harsh IPA. Potential but needs to be freshier.

330ml bottle, #286, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. A noisy , bubbly, fawn-coloured head diminishing over a near black body with a deep ruby shade. Dotted spots on the glass. Roasted malty smell, earth, ash, and caramel. Dark malty taste with a touch of star anise. Hints of slightly tart berries to the ending. Just alright. (Tromsø 11.12.2017).

Flaske 330ml fra Gulating Tromsø. Dyprød. Høyt tett skum som daler sakte. Aroma av julekrydder. Smaken litt tynn. Spor av julekager og brøddeig. Sånn passe - men litt julefølelse.

200ml draught at the brewpub. Diminishing beige head, brown-orange coloured body, slightly hazy. Rings of lacing down the glass. Mid-dry brown malty aroma, yeasty notes. Spiced fruity flavours with slightly tart yeasty fruitiness to the end. Medium bodied. Drinkable and accepted, strange Yuletide beer. (Tromsø 11.12.2017).
