A fine and nice grocery store Brown Ale
Clear deep nutty color with a thick lasting tan head. Ok lacing. Nice smooth aroma with an ok intensity. Medium body and an ok carbonation. Tad sweet and an ok bitterness. A bit oily texture. Chocolate, some roast and toffee.

Hazy golden color with a fine white head. Moderate malty and mild hoppy aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation. Malty, herbal, a bit bready and mild hoppy flavor.

330ml bottle, Batch 102, at Vertshuset Skarven. Bright pale amber body, hazy last pour. Declining white head leaving dotted spots behind. Mild malt-fruity nose. Pears, apples, and mild caramel flavours throughout. Clean and rounded mouth feel. Drinks quite well (Tromsø 14.01.2016).

Bottle thanks to Finn & Rune. Batch #111. It pours deep brown with a small off-white head. The nose is bitter - sweet, toasted nut, dried fruits, fruit cake, festive spice, light plastic and cacao nibs. The taste is bitter - sweet, malt-driven, slight plastic vibe, caramel, raisin, fruit cake, plain chocolate. spice and some dull burnt toast with a dry finish. Light - medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Almost there, its just that touch of plastic which puts me off a bit.

ChrisO Tasting. Lightly hazy gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry. Modest fine carbonation. Light dry pale malt sweetness. Mild ripe orange. A vague but off putting buteric pukey note. Light dry finish. Meh!

Bottleshare at Chez Smith. Thanks to Paul. Almost clear amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Tangy! Tangy edging toward sour. Tart dried fruits and papery malts. Light semi dry finish. Skewed.

330ml bottle, batch 111, from Kjeller 5. A fawn-coloured head reduced to a remaining layer. Deep dark brown body, cloudy last pour. Fragile lacing. Malty aroma, earth and nuts. Dark malty flavours, nuts, chocolate and liquorice, lightly spiced with cinnamon. Rounded malty, slightly roasted endnotes. Easy to drink. Accepted (Tromsø 27.12.2015).

Bottle shared at Leightons place, Many thanks to Paul for this one . 14/12/15. Mostly clear amber coloured pour with a halo of off white head. Aroma is sweaty socks and farts, musty, sweet raisin malts, nutty. Flavour is semi sweet and sour, raisin and nutty malts, tangy funky fruit. Palate is thin, sweet and sour, drying dusty finish. Not very good.
