0.33 l bottle from 'Homberg's große Bierwelt', best before March 2021. Clear, golden with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly malty and a bit grassy-spicy aroma of grains and some straw. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently grassy-spicy taste of mainly grains with a touch of straw, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly grassy-spicy finish. Almost medium-bodied, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Solid Helles, not very outspoken or interesting but quite clean.

Pappig getreidiger, wenig würziger Beginn. Klare Herbe, pappig bleibend, auch wann das Aroma zurückgeht. Trockener Körper, keine Würzigkeit, leicht getreidiges Finish. 8/6/5/5/9/5

Wee bottle, danke Günther. Pale golden, lowish lace. Grassy and metallic herbal nose. Medium to light chewy body, dry, sparkly, light moppy hay, grassy finish. Pretty middle of the road.

330 ml bottle. Unclear golden, big fluffy head. Grassy hops, honey, lemon, a bit metal, hay. Mild hoppy bitterness, some malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, mild dry fruity finish. Decent.

330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, strawy malty and plain bitter hoppy aroma. Taste is grainy, strawy malty and plain, bitter hoppy with a grassy accent, very subtle residual sweetness, minimally metallic finish. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, slightly prickly carbonation. OK.

€-Flasche (330ml): Pale greenish golden, visible carbonation, small and persistent white foamy layer, mild (dryish?) grainy nose with hardly detectable “herbal hops” any where in the background; mild bitter-sweet flavour, astonishingly thin for a beer of 5.2%; short and mild - again(!) - bitter-grainy finish. Glückauf! Just another liquid sleeping pill…

Flasche. Klares Gold-Gelb, ganz wenig fester Schaum. Fruchtiges Aroma: Mango, Aprikose, Pfirsich. Malz. Geschmack: Moderat Süß, etwas Hopfen. Leichter Fruchthintergrund, der sich aber im Rachen ausbreitet. Antrunk leicht cremig, keine Bitterkeit.
