Sample at the CCBW Six One Pour festival on 05/20/2017. The beer is a dark brown color with a medium tan head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Chocolate, coconut and malt in the nose. Medium body with a malty and nutty character, with chocolate in the background. The finish is sweet with a chocolate and coconut aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear reddish-orange color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a sparse outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus, spice and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of mildly tart lime, ginger and floral yeast. The finish is citrusy with a lime and ginger aftertaste. Reminiscent of the Moscow Mule drink. Decent overall.

Light to medium body with flavors of tart peaches, herbal yeast and malt. The finish is mildly tart and fruity with a peach aftertaste. Decent overall.

Light-bodied with a roasty malt character and notes of milk chocolate and coffee. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
