Sample in the speakeasy at the brewpub. Inky black color with a medium tan head that diminishes steadily to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of bourbon, malt and vanilla. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky vanilla, roast malt and bourbon. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Medium body with flavors of roasty coffee and malt and some sweet cocoa in the background. The finish is roasted coffee and malt. Pretty good overall.
