50cl bottle. A clear golden beer with a white head. Aroma of sweet grainy malt. Taste of moderate sweet grainy malt, strong malt, cereals, mild spicy bitterness.

Thousand thanks to kappldav123 for this bottle! Grainy nose. The beer is Heller Bock typical, slightly sweetish with a grainy and mild bitter finish. Nice and bitter grainy Maibock.

Landsberger Starke Sau, Flasche von Edeka, Aschersleben. - Dunkleres Goldbraun, klar. - In der Nase sattes, leicht karamelliges und zart nussiges Malz, brotige Süße, dezente Zitrusfrucht (Orangenschale) und hintergründige Herbe. - Antrunk füllig karamelmalzig-malzbitter mit brotig-nussigen Aromen, dezenter Süße und einiger Tiefe. Leichtes orangenfruchtiges Süßsauer. Zurückhaltende, nicht zu knappe krautige Hopfenherbe. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang ein wenig stumpf hopfenherb, leicht metallisch. - Etwas derber aber solider heller Bock mit malziger Tiefe und nicht zu knapper Hopfung. Gar nicht übel. Freilich stören auch hier beim Wärmerwerden muffig-ranzige Noten. (12.8.2020.)
