Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and moderate hoppy - peach. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. Soft. 180113

Bottle, 5%. Clear deep amber with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel and a little hop. Flavour is malt, caramel, little dusty, medium sweet, hops and a little bitter.

Bottle 5.0%. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich caramel, malt, hops and notes of fruits. Nice and sweet with oily palate.

Horrible smell of yeast, like a vulgar homebrew. Correct body strength, sweetish flavor,, not many notable characteristics, apart from a good share of yeast; low bitterness.
Badly executed.

Draught @ GEIB, Grande Esposizione Italiane della Birra 2012, Nuova Fiera di Roma, via Portuense 1645, Rome, Italy 00100.Unclear matt medium amber colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, perfume, moderate yeasty, anis seed. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, anis seed, spicy, sweet yeast, sweet fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121215]

Bottle at home (Domus Birrae) - 07/10/12. Opaque murky brown with no head - does not look appealling! Sweet espresso coffee dominates the nose with a little background milk chocolate and malt. Taste follows nose a little nuttiness and again a sweet espresso flavour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation a little booze in the finish but a little on the thin side for 8%+. Drinkable but a bit disappointing overall.
