Draught at Kafe U Krtka, Neratovice. Clear, pale amber colored. AROMA- honey, malty, some noble hops, touch of berries and apple. FLAVOR- lightly sweet, lightly bitter, honey, toasted, caramel, spicy noble hops. Fuller bodied. Tasty.

Tap. Surprisingly good. Pilsener with higher voltage is certainly appreciated during these cold days. Malty, quite high bitterness. Booze is apparent but does not really bother me. Good.

Tap at The Pub Praha 13. Woow, such innovation, add 8 IBUs and Sládek to Extra Hořka 15 and you get a new beer. :D But let's see if it helped any. Fantastic coppery clear color, big, lasting thick off-white head. The aroma is not perfect, a bit herbal, a bit flowery, a bit caramelly. Initially soft, caramelly taste, lightly sticky but still within reason, ending with a fairly big but well integrated bitterness. A much more serious beer than EH, I guess, or it just so seems compared to the bottled version of it.

500ml Can- Golden with a white head. Malty and slightly herbal aroma with some faint hints of citrus. Bitter taste with notes of butter and herbs alongside some citrussy, soapy and slightly minty notes.

Im Glas findet sich ein klares sattes Goldgelb wieder. Feine Perlage steigt hoch und nährt eine etwa 1 cm starke, weiße, feinporige Schaumkrone. Diese zeigt sich wässerig und mäßig stabil. Brotig-malzige Duftaromatik, in der eine feine Hefenote mitschwingt. Der Antrunk kommt unüberraschend ziemlich wässerig mit zarter Malzaromatik und ebenso zarter Würze. Am Gaumen erwartungsgemäß sehr dünn bis wässerig, aber rein aromatisch ganz okay. Zarte Malzaromen, die eine leichte Süße ins Spiel bringen, dazu ein würziger Charakter, der bei tschechischen Bieren nicht fehlen darf. Die hopfigen Noten halten sich dabei sehr im Hintergrund. Auch wenn dieses Bier ziemlich dünn wirkt, kommt die zarte Aromatik durchaus angenehm. Mundgefühl und Süffigkeit sind dabei verhältnismäßig gut. Im Nachtrunk flachen die Aromen rasch ab. Eine leichte grasige Herbe kommt auf, die aber ebenfalls relativ rasch abklingt.
