Description
The beer is named after the Slavic god Radegast. This, the most popular brand of beer in Moravia and characterised by its bitterness, is brewed in the Nošovice brewery from the highest quality brewing ingredients from Moravia. It was first brewed in 1970. The brand has a strong and loyal following in Moravia and Silesia, but is also popular with beer lovers all over the Czech Republic.
Since 1999 the brewery is owned by Pilsner Urquell, which is, in turn, owned by Asahi Breweries.

Pours with nice and long-lasting head, clear appearance, floral and grassy aroma. As for the Bohemian Lager this beer leaves an intensive herbal bitterness in the aftertaste, almost like it was an India Pale Lager or something of sorts. Very refreshing and drinkable, yet hoppy and intense. Maybe the aroma could be stronger but still its one of the best pale lagers I have ever drunk. One of rare examples when lager is labelled as "hoppy" and really delivers on its promise. Cheers!

0.5l can. Malty aroma, soft caramel notes. Clear golden color, white head. Malty taste, caramel notes, medium to high bitter. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation and bitter finish. Ok.

bottle from Albert Nové Butovice. Golden brown with a tall off-white head. Malty with some caramel and roasetd malts, herbal-resiny hoppy flavours and a lingering, dry and hoppy finish. Quite decent!

Lahev (děkuji stavitelovi domečku!): Deep golden to light amber coloured, clear, small off-white head, mild and clean caramelly nose with a mild, but distinctive herbal-spicy background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and quite soft; lingering dryish herbal-bitter and caramelly finish. Klobouk dolu! Až do dnes nejlepší pivo z Nošovíc...

Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is straw, malt, some herbal flavours. Taste is earthy hops, slight malts, rather neutral, quite watery, rather high carbonation. Slightly bitter finish even. Boring and quite neutral, but not flawed.

bottle. Clear golden, high foamy white head, not lasting for long. Pleasant aroma of malt and bread. Taste is combination or malt and hops. Good bitterness, refreshing one. Decent LA
