Bottled at Katarina Ölkafe, Stockholm. Hazy golden, small head. Fruity nose with mild marzipany lemon. Mid dry with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Mildly lemony with slight saltiness and lightly grainy malt. Low bitterness. No frills, well drinkable true to style gose.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Noam’s place. Thanks Tom L. Clear yellow with a white head. Aroma of fruity hops, a bit of spiciness, zesty, slightly soapy. Flavor has faint sweetness, fruity hops, light spiciness, and an earthy hint. Quite light-bodied.

Keg at BrewDog Södermalm, Stockholm. Black with brief, coarse beige head. Rich aroma of black currant and tar. Mid sweet with solid body and rounded mouthfeel. Black currant, milk chocolate and licorice. Mid bitter finish. Flavourful but unassaulting. Nice!

Draught. Opaque black liquid with medium light tan head. Aroma of citrus, chocolate, red berries, raw sugar, toffee, light coffee and dried fruit. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium bitter with notes of citrus, raw sugar, banana and pineapple. Medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. Nice, but not that much of a black IPA.

[ As Modernist TXS #002 Equinox India Pale Ale ].Unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, hops, fruity hops - fruit, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a long duration, orange, fruity, citrus, grass, hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150722]

330ml Bottle - Black with a tan head. Liquorice, plain chocolate, coffee and hints of ash in the aroma. Rich taste with liquorice, coffee and plain chocolate combining well with the very noticeable yet not excessive smoky notes.

Draught @ Katarina Ölcafé. Pours hazy yellow with a frothy and bubbly white head that leaves lots of thick sticky lacing and and trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly fruity and tiny spicy phenolic with crackers, grapefruit juice, pineapple, pears, hay, dry soil, white pepper corns and lemon zest. Taste is very tiny sweet, slightly bitter, slightly fruity, slightly yeasty and slightly spicy phenolic. Mouthfeel is soft, dry and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter with crackers, cereal, grapefruit juice, pineapple, grass, dry soil, white pepper corns, dry spicy yeast and lemon zest. Solid hoppy saison. Very refreshing!
