Our mission has been to produce vibrant, quality and innovative beer with a truly authentic team of humans since 2015. Structures Brewing was founded by James Alexander after spending years working at breweries in Washington, Pennsylvania, and Vermont.

In 2021, forces were joined when Bryan Cardwell partnered with James. Bryan comes from a background of world class brewing experience in Washington and Oregon. Together they have meshed their skills of brewing great hoppy beer and lager beer... while also loving to explore the realms of curiosity in Imperial Stouts, Barleywines and Smoothie Sours.

Dark brown. The aroma has a bunch of bourbon on it. There's some dark sugars, a bit of nuttiness that speaks to toasty cacao. This has a bunch of sweetness, a nice coconut note, sweet bourbon. This comes together nicely.

Poured from 473mL can. Near black with virtually no beige head. Coconut, bourbon barrel, cacao nibs. Nicely balanced, tasty.

16 oz. can, pours black with almost no head. Nose brings out lots of toasted coconut and bourbon barrels upfront, followed by dry cocoa nibs -- smells complex as hell. Flavour is decadent and complex, with a wonderful bourbon barrel character and toasted coconut upfront, followed by cocoa nibs and some nice warming character. Wonderfully integrated, with a beautiful marriage between the coconut and bourbon. Lovely.

On tap at Structures, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of vanilla beans, bourbon barrels, and moderate roast. Flavour is intense, almost over-the-top abrasive, with intense vanilla, followed by bourbon, cocoa and light roast. The vanilla is almost too abrasive, lending a lot to the viscosity — almost syrupy on the palate. It's certainly a beautiful BA impie, but just a little too abrasively vanilla-dominant for me. Excellent.

Glass shared with Matt. Blend III, year 2019. Appearance: very dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma: tons of chocolate and vanilla, quite sweet, bourbon. Taste: along the same lines, tons of vanilla, some nutty character, very thick. Overall: this is amazing.

On tap at Structures, pours an opaque peachy orange with a small white head. Aroma is vibrant, with resinous hops, some dankness, loads of juice stone fruits, and some tropical notes. Flavour is bursting with juicy tropical fruits, dank hops, some pine, and just enough malt backbone. Juicy, fruity, and yet nicely bitter. Lovely—a hazy I can get behind.

On tap at Structures, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out loads of piney hops, rich resinous hops, and just enough biscuity malt backbone. Flavour is bright, with wonderfully expressive piney and resinous hops, biscuity malt backbone, and a bit of fruitiness. Vibrant and robust, with impeccable balance. Excellent.
