Description
You can come get to know our beers and the people behind them at either of our two locations.
Our original brewery on Lincoln Avenue is home to our Brewery Shop, where you can sample or purchase to-go, and a Tap Room, where you can stay, get a bite to eat and get to know who we are and what we do. You can now also visit our new brewery, on Balmoral Avenue, where we have a beer garden in nice weather and a completely separate food program.
Both locations offer perennials Daisy Cutter, Bodem, Pony Pilsner and Tuna plus plenty of small batch beers released weekly.

From Good Times Oakland, canned July 8th 2025.
Pours a clear amber with plenty of long lasting foam and good lacing.
Smell is on the hoppier side rather than the maltier side. Some bread and grain do come through with some notes of grass and citrus.
The taste fares better with more of a malt lean. Good notes of bread, light grain and caramel. It does have a healthy grassy bitterness.
Good mouthfeel, good Oktoberfest. I wouldn't turn down another can.

Looks like lemonade. From a can, it has very little head and that fades to just a ring. Nose is mild peculiar spices of sorts. On the first taste, yes that hop bitterness is there, but you certainly can tell this is not an IPA. It has a shade of tartness in there, and I like that. Yea, this is interesting. it wants to be an APA but its also tangy. Almost wants to be a kettle soured hoppy beer. Maybe some leather in there, maybe some grass in there. In the middle, the IPA hops start to build but never quite get there. It stays just below the level of what I'd call IPA. Some slight warming sensation in the mouth on the finish. Ends with a compelling linger. Overall, I don't like IPA hops but the zing of this brew almost makes it acceptable. Could drink another.

12 oz can from Beerbox. Aroma is bready, peppery, grassy. Pours hazy golden with a one and a half finger off-white head with good retention. Taste has a firm herbal bitterness backed by moderate bready malt sweetness.

Draught at Wilder: pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma is citrusy, some light dankness and mellow pine, berries, perhaps. Taste is tangy, without too much if any bitterness. Generally smooth and pleasant.

12 oz can. Pours a clear yellow color with a small-ish white head that soon dissipates. The aroma is medium in strength with citrus and herbs. The taste is more of the same--light citrus and some herbal stuff. The palate is on the lighter side but appropriate for an APA. Finishes short and clean. Overall: Very crushable goes down easy.

Aromas are malt, straw and a bit of hops. Flavors are similar to nose, bittersweet with dank hops coming out more. Decent body and carbonation. Good beer.

Auroras are a nice blend of resin, citrus, melon, stone fruit and a bit of MJ. Flavors are similar to nose with excellent balance between bitter sweet and carbonation. Full-bodied and satisfying. This is getting a bit old and I bet it would be much better fresher.

Big pounder can for $3 at chalet premier. Hazy pale, thin white head. Oddly, not much aroma but if I really sniff it, maybe I get some milky malt, not sure. Taste is big time IPA of course, bitter as ever and terribly on style. Decent level of carbonation too! Makes it just a little more tolerable for my girlie macro lager loving taste buds. Middle is building bitter. Slight warming sensations. Rising to the level of unpleasant, disgusting, awful, rudely obnoxious and vile. What is it with these IPAs? Tropical hints? IDK. Just straight up ass impolite, discourteous, disrespectful, ill-mannered, and uncivil. There, you have it. Good thing it has some ABV, makes this tick worthwhile for the 3$.
