On tap at Cloudburst, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of citrus hops, a little pine, a little resin and a bone dry biscuity malt. Flavour is extremely well-balanced, with piney hops, citrus and just enough sweet malt. Finishes astringent and with a touch of desirable sweetness. Excellent stuff.

Draft pour pint at Sixgill. From notes. Rating #2010, the year that brought us Iron Fist. Cloudy golden pour with a ton of thick foam head.  Creamy body.  Hop heavy aroma.  Flavor is bitter hops up front, and throughout really.  Some light citrus fruit, and a bit juicy.  Has a bite to it, but has a mellow side as well.  Soft melon.  Good IPA.

Draft nitro pour at the brewery. Rating #1940, the year of a whole lot of WWII stuff. And Canada invaded Italy. Pours black with a thick, cream tan head and lace. Soft roast aroma. Cream body, with a very sweet milk chocolate. Lingering roast finish. Fun beer.

Draft pour at the brewery. Pours a shiney clear golden color with a rocky fizz head. Rating #1939, the birth year of the Golden Gate Bridge and the men’s NCAA basketball tourny. Very soft aroma of plastic and hops. Flavor is dry, straw grain up front, and a dry hippy finish. Tasty, but not refreshingly killable. I can enjoy this. UPDATE: it’s been forever since I have this another try. The one beer Cloudburst has kept on this whole time. Straw grains, enhanced by a subtle earthy hop constant. Refreshing. A little lighter than I remember. A solid pils.

Draft pour at the brewery. First of many visits here, and the first beer of my considered baseball season. Rating #1938, the same year that bugs bunny made an initial appearance. Important. Pours black with almost no head. Slap in the face coffee aroma, which is quite nice. Flavor is a nice roast, coffee, creamy chocolate body. Seattle flavored beer for sure. Has a warming feel to it as well. Very nicely done.

Draft 12 Oz pour at the Pine Box. Listed at 5.8%. Pours a cloudy burnt orange color with a thick foam head. Sweet floral, earthy aroma. Flavor is herbal dominated, with a ton of floral notes, and a warming finish. Comes off as a stronger beer to me. Soft spice in the late palate. Interesting beer with a lot going on, but the flavor isn’t one that particularly suits me. Still quite interesting and enjoyable.

Draft 12 oz pour at the Pine Box. Listed at 5.2%. Cloudy orange pour with a mousse white head. Heavy floral aroma. Flavor is sweet berry and fruit, big floral, a little grass to it, and a hint of corn. Long cool floral finish. Good beer here.

Draft pour pint at Special Brews. Mostly clear golden pour with an active fizz head. Big citrus aroma. Grapefruit specific. Flavor is heavy grass hops, with a late linger of citrus fruit. Late cracker like palate. No ordinary pale here. A ton of flavor. Lots going on. Incredible stuff.
